Swimming lesson

Week 7, lesson 5 Floating without floats

Let me start by saying that I was anchored to a spot several times in this lesson… this learning how to swim is no small joke…Kai…. I really don’t want to give the impression that I am learning without no stress. The anchoring that happened to aunty Nigeria last week… well yours truly had multiple episodes ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

aunty Nigeria was a no show. But in the pool was aunty Jamaica, the mathematician, the family group girl (gypsy) and another lovely lady…

I believe my anxiety is the fact that the floats are gradually coming off๐Ÿ˜ซ ..one by one…. by the end of the lesson yesterday I had NO FLOATS and I floated… chimoooo… I nearly died… this calls for celebration๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ

I had heart palpitations throughout the 45 minutes lesson… I kept on feeling my heart with my hand…. cos I was worried at the vibration I was feeling throughout my body… anxiety is not a good thing oooo….

So my swimming instructor was my original one… last weeks deep pool experience was with a substitute swimming instructor…

My regular instructor …. well we have naturally warmed up to each other now… she smiles alot… laughs at my comments and remarks… has a good sense of humour… they all do… they think I’m hilarious… I think I’m a good laff … you really can’t be dead serious all the time na … like I always say… anything serious is in the hospital๐Ÿค—
