I remember when I started doing my medical mission on high blood pressure and diabetes. Providing health awareness and education to entirely random villagesš³...
I used to travel with plenty of excess luggage into Lagos... Spend a few days with my aunt.... Then get on the 1st ABC bus to Owerriš with my plenty load... Wearing iro and bubaš„° and an empty stomach.... (I never eat on road trips because toilet issue is not what i want to experience)...6/7 hrs later arriving in Owerri... I pick a taxi drop straight to a hotel...
As my time in Nigeria got shorter and shorter and my appointment got a bit stretched...I was forced into taking local flightsš£... To meet up... See fearš... Unfortunately, Travel by road is a full day commitment...
Abuja reunion was by road from Owerri to Abuja. I could have kukuma met my friends in Abuja. But what's the fun in that.
But Nigeria has scenery ooo.
1st Road trip to Abuja was in an ABC luxurious bus with tv and toiletš. They served Jollof rice. For the reunion, it was in a small car we hired. Which broke down when we arrived at the hotelšš¾āāļøšš¾āāļøšš¾āāļøšš¾āāļøšš¾āāļøšš¾āāļøšš¾āāļø
It was a trip and a half...
Enugu was by road ... Again a life time experience.
Lagos reunion was a weekendš¤Ŗ, flight only...
Port Harcourt reunion looks like complete lockdown ... Even the hotel is not laughing... No extra mattress for squatters oošš¾āāļø... Coro,na virus and ungun known men
are finding our trouble....
Posted in arrears
Welcome back! Youāve been gone a while and I see you had lots of fun, while we missed youšš½š¤
